Brent Schumann
“Hello, I’m the president of Impact Building Systems. I first got into the metal building industry in 1992, where I worked for a small metal building company. I started out at the very bottom. Unbeknownst to me this was leading me to where I am today. I soaked up all I could about metal buildings. After working for them for approximately two years, an opportunity arose to go work for a full line manufacturer.
I was an inside sales person selling components. Basically, I sold the parts and pieces that make up a metal building. Right away this let me know my ultimate goal was to be an outside sales person. So I asked that they consider me for an outside sales position, and shortly thereafter, a sales territory opened up on the East Coast, so I took it.
I moved to Jacksonville, Florida where I managed my own sales territory. Less than a year later the company revamped the East Coast territories. Based on this new mapping, I was better off in a different location. So I moved to Aiken, South Carolina about a year down the road. In the fall of 1997 I realized I was stagnant. I had sort of lost motivation, so I figured it wasn’t fair to me or the company to continue on like this.
I decided to start my own business. So, I named her Impact Building Systems Inc. and, right away I became a private label dealer for All-American Systems, which is a subsidiary of NCI. That was 22 years ago. I did not obviously know it at the time but, my time spent working for the previous metal building company along with work done for the component company, gave me a huge amount of experience, which helped me in running my own company.”
Prior to working in the metal building industry, Brent proudly served in the United States Army as a Ranger for 4 years.
Michael Schumann
Mike is our lead sales representative at Impact Buildings Systems and has been working with us since 1999. After graduating from John Foster Dulles High School, Mike would go on to join the U.S. Navy and proudly serve for four years. He loves to golf and ride his motorcycle whenever he can and, is involved with related veteran charities. Mike’s loyalty and integrity make him one of the cornerstone members of the Impact team.

Audrea Schumann
Audrea is the Office Manager here at Impact and has been with the company since 2004. Graduating from Klein High School, Audrea is proud mother of 4 children and grandmother to 3. Audrea is passionate about sports and loves to cheer on the San Antonio Spurs and the Houston Texans. Team Impact could not function without her diligence and guidance.
Debbie Boeddeker
Debbie has been the bookkeeper here at Impact Building Systems for the last 4 years. Prior to coming to Impact she worked for the State of California for 25 years and the State of Texas for 3. As Debbie’s first private industry job in a long time, she was attracted to work at Impact for our family oriented values. Debbie loves spending time with her 8 grandchildren, who all live active lifestyles in: football, basketball, soccer, baseball, gymnastics, and track and field. She looks forward to retiring and traveling with her husband in the future.
Louis Nieto
A born and raised Texan, Louis is the proud father of two beautiful girls. With more than a decade of experience selling metal buildings, Louis has numerous projects under his belt and just as many happy clients. His attention to detail, strong work ethic, and patience, make him a valuable asset to any sales force.
Shawn Hanson
Shawn graduated from NDSSS with a degree in Architectural Drafting and Estimating. He then went on to work 11 years as a Board Detailer/Checker, then 2 years as a Satellite Office Manager/Detailer/Checker and lastly, for 17 years as a contractor for several different fabricators before joining the Impact team in March of 2017. Shawn is one of the most knowledgeable detailers in the team bringing 32 years of experience in steel fabrication and Detailing to our organization.
Henry Guzman
Henry is one of our skilled Detailers at Impact. Graduating from Sweet Water High School in West Texas, Henry would go on to complete his schooling at TSTC with a degree in Drafting and Design. The proud father of 2 girls, Henry enjoys what he does, having applied his skills for years before joining the Impact team, at places like Butler and NuCor. He has been with us since 2008, his expertise and understanding are instrumental in Impacts continuing success.
Levi Oldmixon
As the newest member of the team, a recent Texas State graduate, and reservist in the Marine Corps, Levi works to provide Impact Building Systems with all of our marketing needs. Born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, he considers the Austin/ San Antonio area his home.
